Companies need to communicate with their customers

Millions are spent every year on mail communication.  To help them, Royal Mail has introduced an array of discount schemes that reduce the cost and increase control. And nowadays there are many viable alternatives in the form of independent courier and despatch organisations.  The result is confusing for businesses who just want to talk to their customers.

Early in the Inkfish project it became clear that the company's impressive range of services were merely the toolkit they use to perform their communication magic. The core benefit they bring is that they allow their customers to return to what they really want to do: communicate.  So we created the theme of Bringing you closer to your customer.  Once that was in place, everything else followed logically.

The system is presented in a conventional PowerPoint-style format and controlled simply by pressing the space bar or left mouse button to move forward.  The right mouse button and backspace key step back.  As a result it's familiar and reassuring to presenters.

Sitting behind it all there's the Configurative control panel.  This allows presenters to create, save, load and modify presentations in a few seconds.  Each custom file is tiny, so it's practical to store hundreds of presentations on a single laptop.  The small file size also allows sales operatives to share presentations with their colleagues by e-mail.

Creating a customer copy of the presentation is a simple task.  Just click the Copy button and all of the files and configuration details are assembled into a stand-alone application for memory stick or CD.  Presenters can choose to omit the control panel, securing the presentation they hand over from subsequent editing.
